Diversity Role Models Workshops
The workshop was amazing. it really opened my eyes to the stereotypes and hardships the LGBT+ people go through.
I didn't think I would ever have to face this in life but this workshop changed that. I realised that there could be so many people close to me who go through the agony of not being able to confess and accept who they are simply because they fear that people and society won't accept them. Bust as people of the future we should start to realise that there is no reason for racism and homophobia.
This workshop was very informative and realistic. Sachin gave us a true life story which was beautiful.

In Today's workshop we learnt about LGBT and how we shouldn't judge people on who they are attracted to. We were also told about Rachel's story which told us that you can grow up thinking you are straight but you can change when you're older. Like other women 'came out' when she was 25.
We also learnt about the stereotypes and the picture people paint of you when you're young. They both taught us how LGBT feel to come out and their fears, the way we can change our school to be more accepting and a safe place.
